good XC tire

Hey there again BeastyTrailblazer
The majority run HoleshotXC or Maxxis Razr [or other similar knock off]
I run the regular Holeshots for now because I still have to run motocross too and I have 3 sets of rears hanging in the shop. When they are gone, it's Holeshot XC and no more motocross races.
If you are new to the woods racing scene, count on replacing them at least every two races if you are running on a track that is root infested. They tend to eat up very fast.

i do run XC and am and have been hoplessly addicted, im always sure to run with my tires overinflated a bit to protect my rims. as far as tires go i was looking mostly at razr's holeshot xcr's or xct's and was also looking at dirtdevils, i know what youre thinking thats too much of a mud tire which is what most people have said, i rode a buddy's scrambler 500 which had dirtdevils on it and thought they performed extremely well, any comments on the devils?

I am a Kenda dealer but only sell the Scorpions. A good econo. tire for the three wheeler guys left. I have sold a few sets of the DirtDevils in the larger sizes for the 4WD's but they have a different tread depth and slightly different shape than the sport quad sizes. Haven't seen those in person yet.

Actually the number on the tire doesn't mean neccissarily that is a 4 or 6 ply tire. Only about a half dozen tires actually have a 4 ply tire, and NONE but the mudder from Hi-Lifter have a 6 ply. They are 4 or 6 ply RATED. They just don't bother expressing that in their ads or marked on the tire itself. A loop hole for sure. How does one know what type of tests were done to give it a 4 ply rating?? A good question for the manufacturers indeed.
