LT80,

I would like to say thanks for giving us the results after each race.

I check this forum every Sunday night of a race and look for your post.

Thanks again.

Patrick

In the +30 Vet class I had a bad start. I have a phobia of 4th gear, first turn starts. I was 18th coming out of the first turn. I finished 13th or 14th in my qualifier. In the LCQ I got a good, mid pack start (thanks to some tips from Tim Farr) but they watered the track while I was on the gate and the corners got slick. I was 8th or 9th in the first hairpin but a 400ex spun out in front of me and I hit him and almost stalled. That dropped me back to around 18th or 19th. In 3 laps I ran down riders and passed my way to 11th. Not bad I thought.

In my 4-stroke C class, which was full of sand baggers in my opinion, I didn;t do to good. There were around 80 riders. I finished 16th in my qualifer and 12th in my LCQ.

I didn't do as good as I had hoped, but I also didn't train for this race. Things will be so different next year. All in all I had the best time racing in my life.

To me that sounds very good lurch. I think it was a graet showing.

Are you activly racing in any series over your way now?

Whats the scoop on the mojave, Gonna keep her?

As far as C classes go, to be honest I found just the lower number of riders in the B class at alot of events I went to made me enter the B class. Yah the B guys are tough but trying to race with 100 other riders I find is tougher.

Well we are still at it over here but not near the level of compatition your dealing with.

Good luck and chat with you soon.
Gaff

Oh hows mickey doing. Have you hierd from him lately?

I've been watching his GNCC team, they look sharp, very very sharp.

I was talking to Hunter Miller after a local race, and he said that this would be the last year for Loretta's. He said something about them selling the ranch, and tearing down the track. Any truth to this, or will I get to roost some Tennessee loam next year?
