I think we had a somewhat interesting topic going before 660 closed it down...(lol a raptor being the fastest on the board..haha heh jk) anyways what are some of your times. We have a gas 370 honda that runs 4.9's with another 1/10 to 2/10's i feel we can get out of it. We have a couple drag honda's but havent been clocked in the sandwith them. I went on a heavy/wet/dirt track and ran a 4.7 with it. I think we can get a 4.3-4.4 out of it. What about some of you other guys? Our bikes are on meth, no fuel additives. What do you guys run?

 

As you can see below that's what im running just now putting it back together and have no idea how fast its going to be I'm also running carbon fiber rims and hoosiers. I'm thinking it going to haul A$$.

 

Should run good, any nos on that beast? Running gas or methanol?

 

No nos yet but maybe later after I learn how to ride the beast. I'm running 110 leaded racing fuel. 3.00$ gal. not bad price most VP fuels I've found were 7-8 dollars gal.

 

7-8 dollars a gallon is pretty steep for race fuel. I pay 4.60 a gallon for 110ERC race fuel. For methanol i pay 2.40 a gallon. Some of the bigger shops around i think get about 6 bucks a gallon from trick and VP though. A lot just depends on who you know?

 

I've found it 3.00 gal if you buy 30gals or more

 

Hey guy's the fastest Honda 250r was 4.0 in 100yrds on meth.I think your headed in the right direction with yours.My Zilla does 4.53's without nos,havent had it timed yet with it.

 

Your close zilla but the fastest 250r was by Dennis Packard of Packard Enterprises. He went a high 3.8 on a pilot honda. We arent that extreme in our bikes nor are we trying to obtain any record (lol impossible for small town guys). Our drag bike is stretched but it is still suspended and substantially smaller then the 450+cc single cylinders out there. Our next direction might be a rotax/honda breed. Ive seen them run into the 4.2's. Thats fast enough for us on a single and still have it somewhat reliable. I know packard has to rebuilt his after every weekend or track event

Have a 97 polaris sport running low 5's with hpd race mod on race gas, thinking of switch to methanol, how mych hp do you think I can gain.
