Default HELP!!!!!

I am looking for some input…..
There is a new series starting here on the east coast. The series consists of 8 races from SC to WV to MD. Some TT, some MX. Each event will be located at a large venue (fairground, arena, etc) so the exposure would be larger than a typical quad race.

Here’s my dilemma…. The series is paying out for its amateur classes. If I run this series and win money, I will have to run as a pro at the nationals or any other ATVA sanctioned event. (ATVA, AMA rule) I am really looking forward to the nationals this year and don’t want to screw it up.

I am running A class now, but don’t think I am ready to run with the pros.

I like running TT and MX. There is another series in the area that is all MX and one more that is all TT. This is the only one that mixes it up.

What do I do? I hate to just run races here and there, contributing to a prize fund that I will never see any rewards from. If I run a series, I would at least like to qualify and get something out of it.

I am going to hit a few MX nationals and plan on attending all the TT nationals.

Decisions, decisions, decisions????????????

I think you should just go for it. Ride the best race you can everytime. IF you win and it qualifies you in a pro status, then hell your a pro, ride with the pros. Who knows if you end up spanking everyone so bad that you make them look foolish, maybe you'll get a sponsor...Don't laugh, I saw it happen in a Disney movie once..

Good Luck know matter what you decide. Keep us posted on how you do. I've been debating throwing my old bones in a few races this year. Kick some ***!

If your that good in A class then you are probably ready to run with the pros, It would be better to run with some more competetive people anyways
