Default Today's trail ride

What's up guys. Figured I'd share a video of my ride today with my brother on his New Renegade. I decided to take the old Outty out to get its blood flowing. The Scenary is pretty poor (as expected this time of the year) and these particular trails are entirely too dry (due to low snow fall this year) but the ride was great regardless. Wish I could have gotten a clip of when we reached the Lake but I ran out of memory about 25-30 min into filming. Put about 45 miles on the Outty today in total. I've taken good care of it and it's returned the favor!

Looks like a great time. Can't wait for mud season to be over up here. They close the trails when it's freezing at night and above freezing during the day to preserve the trails. Snow today and tomorrow won't help...

Yea the trail systems here are still closed too, these are mine and my neighbors private logging trails.

We are supposed to be getting 5-10 inches of snow tonight (already started) and tommorow followed by 50s and 60s with rain for the rest of the week so I'm sure the trails will be a sloppy mess.

Snowing here too. They're saying 3-5 inches here. Considering some of the snowstorms we've had here in New England in April, it's nothing.

Looks a lot like many of the trails around here. Except for the dry part at the end, its all mud around here. A 2wd quad would be stuck all the time.

I hear ya Greg. I usually wait till about May to take the 700xx's out on the trails but even then, it won't be these type of trails. The trail we enter at the end twists and winds down for about 10 miles to a lake and as you can tell, it's a lot more forgiving and has great Scenary in the spring/summer. Much better suited for 2wds

I can imagine the more hard packed trails can be a lot of fun on those 700xx's. They can really rip through stuff like that.
