Default 3-Wheels 4-Life

The last production three wheeler may have left the factory in 1988- not unlike this guy's helmet, but watching this week's video clip can make everything feel like a scene from Joe Dirt in a hurry:

If he was smart he'd be wearing goggles.

At least he has his Evel Knievel helmet on. I have limited experience on 3 wheels myself. I can easily see why they went the way of the dinosaur. They were fun to ride no doubt but 4 wheels is just a lot more stable. I've seen some guys who could really hustle the old 3 wheelers though. It took some skill and nerves to really push them, especially on a motocross track. Land them a little wrong on a jump and you're flipping it.

In all the time I've been riding I've only seen 2 3-wheelers on the trails. One rolled over for no good reason and the other one crashed. The guy who crashed messed his foot up pretty bad but if he had a 4-wheeler his foot wouldn't even have hit the tree.
