Why not use the diff lock?

Noticed that too! Diff lock on the front axle might have pulled you out early on. I think that's why I like the Polaris and Can-Am systems. Put it in AWD and they all turn. I don't know how many times I've reminded someone to use the diff lock on Suzuki, Arctic Cat, and Yamaha machines to get that little bit more traction they needed to get through or over some obstacle.

Yep. There are times that 4WD will get you out but 3WD won't. There were a couple of times I thought, he's got it this time, but it just didn't happen.
