Top speed is highly overrated and useless measurement. The fact that a Raptor may go 2 or 3 mph faster than a Banshee (or whatever) doesn't mean much in real riding environments. If I had to guess, the new Yamaha 450 will probably not have the topend that a raptor does, but will accelerate quicker making it faster on tracks, trails, etc....

Just my two cents, but I think the quickest quad will indeed be the new Yamaha when it gets here. My V Force is pretty darn quick too, especially from 10-50ish which is where it counts.
