i got a 400ex right now but am looking to trade it in. im 15 6ft 180 pounds and ride cross country mostly which quad should i buy. raptor or predator

 

first of all, give the 400EX to me. then get the predator. its much better, I think. the raptor has a history of breaking, mechanical failures. haven’t herd any from the predator. the shocks are better, adjustable. point is I haven’t herd any bad stories from the predator, many from the raptor. that is the main reason I would pick the predator.

I would take the Raptor personally. While not a lot faster, it is still a difference. I saw a stock Predator and Z-400 at the MX track the other day and the Z was staying in front of the Pred.

 

hey smokinz400, is that because of replacing or mods. im guessin replacing. and even if not i know why he would be modding it. thats why, like everyone says, the raptor has potential. and besides the predator comes with the potential on it. so why get the raptor.

 

the predetor is the best quad to get. hey, maybe the guy didn't know how to ride one thats why he was behind a z400.

i need 2 know what sort of quad is best suited for me i'm 6'4 and 350lbs. ideally i want a 4 stroke and i have never ridden a geared quad

 

"never riden a geared quad", eh. does that mean you prefer not to. if then i would say the KFX 700. its abig quad and you should feel incontrol of it since you a big person. otherwise with a smaller quad it would feel like tiping alot.
