Hey folks,
I am ready to buy! Here are my choices. Honda Rincon, Yamaha Grizzly or the Kawasaki Prairie 650. I found 03 models of each in all the colors. Here are the prices I was quoted (out the door). Let me know what you think...

Honda Rincon - $7251
Yahama Grizzly - $6713
Kawasaki Prairie - $6500

Help me out, I am looking for log life and great performance in a 4x4 package. I also want to consider resale...

 

Out of these I like the prairie 650 as I've said before I don't own one but I've driven one and it accelerates like a sport quad and will fly through the woods. The rincon would be my next choice, it has a lot better handling than either of the other two. It has the weakest motor of the three. Probably the yamaha would be my last pick of the three, but it's still a great quad. It probably has the most powerful motor of the three it just doesn't handle as well. It's probably the better worker of the three. In my opinion the marigin of difference between these big three is so little it doesn't really matter. I would just get the cheapest one of it was me, which so happens to be my favorite the prairie. Good luck and God bless.

 

I think that the 04 Prairie 700 would be my first choice.

 

I just went through the same research on the big dogs. Based upon all the different articles and personal testimonies I've heard, I decided on the Rincon. Now I am just shopping for the best price.

i would go with the rincon. one of our riding buds got one and its sweet.....for a utility bike!
if i ever was in the market given these choices, there is no question: rincon.

 

Rincon = 3WD, aluminum upper a-arms, & no "low" gear. It is a nice all around quad that is very sporty .

Just got back from the dealer and Rincon it is!! I picket one up this morning for 7g's out the door. Now I am just sitting here waiting for them to finish putting it together and deliver it. I have always been a Harley Guy but I have to admit the folks at Northwest Honda here in IL where a extremely helpful and if I have no trouble with the ATV I may buy myself a sport bike in next couple of years...
