As an ex-Honda rider your P-phobias are understandable, but silly. If you want to go fast with 4X4 the Scramblers are the only game in town.

2 Strokes are great, find a Scrambler 400 to test
or you'll never know what they can do. Then your
P-phobia will be P-envy!

 

What about a Can-Am Renegade, they are awesome, they look sporty, are very fast, and are 4wd, and will go through nearly everything that you chuck at it. The only real setback is the price, a new one is around $9,000 so a second hand wouldn't be to bad if you do your research.

 

If you notice the date of the last post on this thread, the Can-Am Renegade didn't even exist yet. I think the first year they were built was 2008, the last post before yours was way back in 2000. The Scrambler and the Wolverine 350 were the only ones back then.
