z400 or yfz450???????
i have found the z400 for 4999 and the yfz450 for 5999 so money is nothing here. what i want to know is wether or not the yfz 450 is as playful as the z400? i have a buddy with 2 of the z400's and i really like, but i want to know what the 450 is like, but no-one has one(wich is good cuz i like to be different). if the 450 is too race oriented will i be able to ride wheelie's easiily like on the 400? this is one of my main concerns as i just like to play, but i like power for the drags at the little sahara dunes. i currently have a pretty hot banshee running on high compression and race gas. gotta sell as it is too much power for me. guess i shouldnt have gotten so crazy with the motor.

z400 or yfz450???????
I haven't riden the z400, but I have ridden the kfx which is the same thing I think?? Anyway...yfz is quicker....you worried about wheelies??? Don't worry....front end comes up when you want it to, but doesn't come up unexpectedly. I ride 90% dunes, and I feel this is the perfect bike for me as far as dunes go....this isn't a drag bike, but neither is the z400.... THIS IS ONE FUN BIKE FOR SURE!!! Especially for the price you say you can get it for, I'd grab it. jmo

z400 or yfz450???????
well first ill throw some numbers at you. a Z400 makes about 31 hp, while a yfz makes almost 45. the yfz is a great bike from what ive heard and it wouldnt have any problems playing. i dont know about wheelies, but i should say that if you master the engine im sure you wouldnt have any problem. the yfz has had a ton of research and development time from yamaha and is basically the best bike around right now. its suspension is race ready, but is compression, rebound, and preload adjustable so you can make it softer of harder if you want or basically tune it to whatever you like. i would most definately recommend the yfz over the z. although i might be a little biased.
YAMAHA RULES! lol.

z400 or yfz450???????
i ride a banshee so most of my riding time is at the dunes too. but i would like to change that with a new 4 stroke bike. i am not buying this bike to run at the drags. this is what my banshee is for. i just dont want a bike that is hard to ride wheelie's in complete controll (ie my banshee) i can ride them all day long on the z400. i wish i could test ride the yfz450 before i had one shipped to my door. thanks for your input and i think im going to get the 450...
