Default Which one?

I further confused myself tonight by going to the dealership to check out the Raptor and YFZ450. They have a leftover L.E. 2003 Raptor. I was quoted a price of $6300 OTD. That includes Tax, Title, and all that crap. I would bave been spared the sales tax, but I dont have cash and have to use the Yamaha card.

Is that a good deal? Should I go for it, or should I go for the YFZ450? I couldn't decide. I was fully prepared to buy, but I couldn't make up my mind so I left. Had a few drinks, and I still cant choose.

It seems like you should be able to find a 2004 for that price but I'm not completely sure. The 2004 Raptor's retail price has been reduced. They may not want to give a good price for the 2004's because they're trying to get rid of the 2003's. I'd say price around a little more and compare prices. The 2003's are only going to get cheaper as this year advances. There's no reason to hurry into anything.

Well, it would be $5,950 out the door, but like I said, I can't pay cash so I have to pay the extra $350 sales tax.

ya, but still it shouldnt be over 6 grand if its last years , that is what the 04s will be this year. If you want to race your quad in mx, the yfz is of course the choice, but if you are more a trails, sand dunes, rider, the raptor is your choice. I suggest asking about the 04s, seeing what he says, and if it would be more than the 03, just go for the 03.
