Default Cross Breed/Sport Utility

I am looking for advice on what make and model would best suit my needs. I will be doind an equal amount of trail riding as work around my property as well as hauling deer out of the woods. I am looking for something with a good suspension and also good rack capabilities for carrying. I am a big guy 235lbs. so engine size/power is also a consideration. I believe a mid size 300 or 400 cc should work. Please help with suggestions on the best makes and models for this situation. Thanks in advance.

Polaris Sportman (400,500,600,700cc) would be my recommendations. Easy to use automatic, great power, awesome suspension and ground clearence. Just my 2 cents.

Lots of good choices in that size range. Eiger 400, New Rancher 400, Kodiak 400 or 450.

Arctic Cat 300 or 400. Ultimate independent suspension. Great rack capacity, and power. Very durable, and reliable.

I'm thinking about getting a 2004 Arctic Cat 400i with a standard tranny. I'm kind of in the same boat you are, looking for something with enough power for pulling, but not to much motor that I'll never use. Go to Arctic Cat's website and you can sign up for a DVD brochure.

Like Vianna and cr742 I went with the CAT 400I, the independent suspension, the greater rack capicity, manual tranny, it meets all the requirements that you are looking for, and does it WELL, I cant say enough about it. overall the best machine out there in my opinion. although i will probably get flamed by the non-cat people here for saying it, definatly the best bang for your buck.
