Good Dealers in So Cal
#1
I'm going to be in the market soon for 1 or 2 new atv's. Haven't totally decided on which brand, could be honda, kawi, suzuki or polaris. Anyway, I'm looking for recomendations for a good dealer, ie, best price, no bs. Any suggestions are appreciated. I live in Orange County, but don't mind driving to get a good dealer. Thanks, Jeff.

I bought 4 bikes and 2 quads from Cal Coast Motorsports in Ventura, CA, their # is 805-642-0900. Ask for Kevin. Tell him Andy sent you over there. he's given me some good prices. I got my Rincon [b]OTD[b] for hundreds under MSRP

Chaparral has a ton of inventory, but they're reluctant to deal on price. And personally, I don't care for their salespeople who don't know their a$$ from a --- well, you know what I mean. I did a lot of calling around and e-mailing. Many dealerships refuse to give a price quote over the phone. That means they've got something to hide, as far as I'm concerned. I eventually bought two quads from Callaway Motorsports in Riverside. They beat their competitors price, and they've been very good to me after the sale. When the folks remember your name when you walk in the door, that means something to me.

Not to flame them but Bert's Mega Mall In Azusa is pretty weak. They have a huge inventory but once you complete the initial transaction, they could care less about you. I bought my wifes quad from lacyclesports.com. Like fast440 mentioned, they are no nonsense with quotes and hae less overhead, therefore they offer better service.

Over the years, I have purchased bikes from HYR (Honda-Yamaha of Redlands), Chaparral, Beaumont, and Malcom Smith. I by far prefer HYR. They know me by name, and I LOVE their service department. They are however, less likely to cut you a price deal (because they are a smaller dealership) than a big dealer like Chaparral. At Chaparral, you just have to go in there knowing that the sales staff is mostly a bunch of flakes. I pity the uninformed buyer who goes into Chaparral!! But, if you know what you want and what you are doing, you will be OK.
