I cannot make up my mind/please provide any imput to help me make decision. :04 grizz or 04sportsman 600. cannot stand to be out- preformed by anyone at deercamp. I feel either atv will do the job but cannot make my mind up/ sportsman is 600.00 less than the grizz. please help/ thanks 3sixty / I have 93 kodiak

thank you both for your feedback/I didnt buy today/test rode both today for 1 st time grizz fast and seems very powerful in low 4x4/ couldnt get down on p600 {parking lot test ride} which is best in reliability? If you cant afford the prairie then get the grizz.In order of performance it would be700 prairie660 grizz700 sprtsman650 a/c650 rincon600 sportsmanand a few others i should put in there but you get the point.

 

What about the Prarie 650??

 

If its going to be a new quad then get a 700 they dont make the 650 anymore.You would have to get an 03 to get a 650 prairie But it would be right behind the 700 prairie

 

One thing I don't like about my brothers grizz is how light the frame is, especially the front guard. And his boils the gas if the side guards are on but that shouldn't be a problem with a new one. If you can't stand to be out- performed (or top bragging rights) than you better go for a 650 or a 700, why by a 600 when there is bigger out there for not much more?

 

i'd put the sportsman 700 above the kawasaki. there are several around here that have switched and love the sportsman. one of the members got a good deal on a kawasaki 700 and after only two months he is looking to trade back to a sportsman 700. just about all the riding around here in mud so maybe the sportsman performs better in it than the kawasaki and might be why evryone around here is switching? i haven't had any problem out of mine but it's still stock and i haven't got it in the really nasty stuff yet. i got a very good deal on mine, a theft recovery with very minor damage, thats why i bought the sportsman. between the two you named i would go with the grizzly.

 

what do you mean out performed at deercamp? take a long serious look at a Prairie 700
