Which utility atv.

I also like utilty ATVs as well, my choices are:
sportsman 700
grizzley 660
arctic cat 650
honda rincon 600
They all seem good, right now i'm leaning towards the rincon and grizzly for their looks and 2/4wd capability. I like the 700 but it doesn't include the 2/4wd. What do you think I should get.

The sportsman700, It has2wd/4wd in fact even when the 4wd is on all 4 wheels dont spin till th rears lose tractio, when that happens you have true 4wd all four will spin... Other companys have this 3 1/2 wd...
The sp700 has shift on the fly 4wd you can turn it on at any speed....
The sp 700 is a good quad and has a ton of power..
Good Luck

Rincon or grizzly. The prarie doesnt have independant rear suspension. Rincon has the best suspension(it is a 650 not 600) and the best tranny. Grizz has IRS and has locking front end option. You read a lot of unhappy messages about Polaris owners. Lots of breakdowns. Got to the honda or yamaha forum and type in rincon or grizzly in the search. Lots of posts comparing the 2 machines. I am trying to decide between the two myself. Im leaning toward the rincon, but the lack of a low range still has me guessing.I dont know anything about the artic cat. Let us know what you decide.

Get a Praire 700, why you ask? because I did. No seriously now, ride them all, do lots of homework, I went with the Praire for it's awesome v-twin and because it does not have IRS, I like straight axles better, the IRS machines tend to have some roll in high speed corners, but thats the way I ride, if I did a lot of rock crawling I would go for the IRS, smoother and more ground clearance, look at the Artic Cat 650 too, it has the Kawi v-twin and IRS and a huge gas tank. Good Luck

Now that wyowheeler has mentioned that the rincon doesn't have a good low range makes the rincon my 2nd choice, the grizzly as first.
The reason i'm so into the 2/4wd selectability is because i wanna be able to slide the rear end and to be able to do fast sport type riding, now i can't slide the rear tires with the sportsman always taking the rear wheel power away to the front all the time.
The arctic cat seems really good, 10'' wheel travel front and back, v-twin which sounds better than a single.

I didnt say the rincon has a bad low range. I said it has no low range. Some say it doesnt need it because it has plenty of power in first gear. My concern was low range for going down steep hills. Engine braking.
