I am a big guy and am looking to buy a sport atv. Anyways what is the fastest and most well balanced quad out ? (2 and 4 stroke) I like the Kawi. V 700, but its more like a 2wd Prairie (which I own)....
When is the 450R coming out?

Any advice would be great.

I Ride a RAPTOR 660R, It does real well for my size. The thing I like about the RAPTOR is the REVERSE. most HI-PO Quads have no REVERSE, I ride Tech Trails, Logging roads and SAND DUNES with very little PROBLEMS. good luck with your search. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Cant go wrong with the raptor or ds650 they have the power and torque to push us big boys around and despite what some people say they are reliable quads.

 

A V-force is far from a 2 wheel drive prarie...in my opinion

 

For bigger guys like myself there is no better than the DS650. It's the fastest bike out and comes stock with a great suspension. But, if you must have reverse, the Raptor is the way to go. You lose some speed and some suspension, but gain reverse.

 

yea if your mechanically inclined get a 1989 Suzuki LT500RK Quadzilla. Fastest production quad ever made. 5 speed 500cc single cylinder 2-stroke with powervalve. Its faster than any other stock machine out there today and its got a large stance so it would be good for a larger rider. i just got one im fixing up for 1700 off ebay. take a look at my pictures i only have one right now but ill have more to come when i get the pics developed and scan them.

 

KFX 700 is far from a praire i agree...the 700 will fly, and it will pull you with no problem, my buddy has one and he is about 200 pounds, it pulls him like nothing.

 

I have to agree. LOL... I have a friend dave that has a V-force, and he weighs about 210-215, and it flys like vette. He can go just as fast, as I have been on it, and my weight is 130..(of corse, I am still am growing)...

 

I heard the 2001 Raptors had a lot of problems so stay away from the 01's just some advice!

 

i just bought an 03 ds650 and let me tell you, this thing is FAST. i have ridden reptors and this feels a little faster. If you are 200 pounds plus i would recomend the ds just for its sheer size. it weighs about 480 pounds. if you are lighter then that i would recomend the raptor.
