Im planning on buying a fourwheeler really soon, and i wanna know, which is faster, KFX 700, YamahaRaptor, or banshee?!?!? My friend has the kfx 700 and i just want to beat him. It would be great if someone could help who has ridden all 3, ive only rode the kfx and the raptor

IF both are stock, the Raptor has a slight edge (.3-.4 secs) in a 300 yards drag.
However, if the 700 owner changes one $22 spring in his clutch, he will be faster
by about that same amount, or a little more, depending on which spring is used.
The stock clutch spring is for beginners and is really wimpy. Mods on the Raptor
will make it a whole different story. Then the two of you will be modding and
remodding trying to keep up with each other, LOL.
However, if you were to buy a 700 also and change the spring before he saw it,
you would beat the pants off him
The Banshee is one screaming machine, in straight line racing it will beat both.
It is a 2-stroke however, and can't fairly be compared to the others.

Yea i know the banshee screams because of the 2 stroke motor, but i dont want to worry about having to working on it so much, new top ends all that stuff with 2 stroke

We dont ride much on tracks...its mostly trail riding, and open fields and the street lol...the cops cant catch us but i just want to be as fast as him or be faster, i can already outride him by a lot

A good point Carl. A Banshee will require a lot more maintenance and repairs, but a 2-stroke
is really cheap to repair should the engine wear out, which it will after a year or two.
I can't stand the sound of a 2-stroke, so I won't own one. But, others won't own anything
but. So, it is a TRUE case of different strokes for different folks.
Go for the 700 then. It would surely be better than a Banshee on trails.
With a few mods you will have one of the fastest quads out there.
