I am new to ATV's and want to get a 2-up machine. I am leaning to the Bombardier Outlander Max XT but the Arctic Cat 500TRV sparks some interest. I am mainly interested in trail riding than having a work machine.

Any help is most appreciated in making my decision.

For tight woods riding either one will tax you! I have a TRV and it has a much better IRS suspension, more travel and ground clearance than the Bomb. It has plenty of power and the ride is awesome. It also has a $69 Warn 2.5i winch and 2 year warranty. I looked at both and while the Bomb. may have a stronger engine it lacks in many other areas critical to enjoying riding. Going over and clearing objects that others have to dodge becomes even more important when you ride double.
