Okay guys, I do not want to create a storm in a tea cup but hubby wants to trade in his blaster for a 4 stroke something. At the moment we are leaning towards the Honda as it is almost $1 500 cheaper. What I need is good advice. He wants something quick but reliable and modern. I must be honest I do not like the look of the honda. I do not really care who will hip who! Just some opinions.
Thanks

I am sure they will both be very reliable. I had a Warrior, which is basically the same as the Raptor 350. It beat on it for years and never had a major problem. We also currently have a 300EX and it seems to be better built than the Warrior. I would have to say, that if he wants something modern, neither is really the choice. I would have to say find something like a Z400 or similar. The prices of these are coming down with the release of the newer 450's, and are pretty close to the price of the new Raptor 350. Where as the Raptor 350 and the 300EX are both good machines, they are still very basic air-cooled four strokes. I personally got tired of my Warrior and bought a Raptor 660, and liked it, but decided the newer technology wasn't for me. Now I ride an 86 250R and wouldn't trade it for anything.
