I am 5'10 135lbs and 15 yrs old, so i'll need room to grow a lil in this quad. I juss need it for farm riding on a kentucky farm. i wont be hauling anything or pulling anything. i wont be going up any xtreme mountains or going thru 3 feet of swamp. my price range is around 2000 dollars. i know it's not alot but i think i can get like a 96-99 250-300 4wd for that kinda money. any suggestions ? wanna tell me which mfg has the best 250-300 size atv ? i'm a n00b, plz feel free to expand my horizons. again this 4wheeler is for generally riding around a farm.

 

For $2000.00, there is only two quads that come to mind.......and have a reputation for holding up well.

A 1988-2000 Honda TRX300 or the 1987-1997 Yamaha BigBear350

Prices have went down on these quads in recent years and can be bought cheap if look around.

The Kawasaki Bayou 300 models are cheap now as well, but only get one if it's around a 1996 or newer model. These quads were known for very bad electrical systems.
