I would go for a ex300. They have a good power, are reliable, and are very plentiful(used)
The problem with the ex250 is it greatly lacks power, its only a 247cc 4 stroke, utillity based at that.
But the ex300 is not only slightly bigger, but tuned for alittle more power. The suspention is
also very good and can even handle larger jumps. The ex 400 is a very good quad,
but with that jump in the displacement gap, it throws the whole frame, steering, and suspention
into a whole new ball park. From what you are saying, I would go with the 300. But Im sure you
will have fun on any of these!!! Good luck and happy riding!!!

im pretty sure the 300ex is not auto clutch
i think that the 300ex handles better than any warrior, IMO, and with a pipe and filter the 300ex 's are great quads with plenty power for a begginer. Plus you can get 1 reletively cheap used alreday hopped up with some aftermarket goodies
personally I like the 300EX. It's a 4 stroke, auto clutch, electric start, and the price is @ $4500 new....OH YEA and they look cool too!

I'm also a female rider. I weigh 115lbs, 5'4". I just got a Suzuki Z400 a few months ago and I love it. I had an Ozark for a year first. The Z400 handles excellent on the trails. The suspension is great. Didn't need any adjustments or aftermarket suspension for my weight. The seat is super comfy and gets thin around the gas tank so you can grip it with your knees for climbing hills, etc. I did a lot of research on it first. I really love it. I can't stop buying cool billet aluminum stuff for it. I think it plenty of power. It also has reverse. It's really easy to use also. It has 5 forward gears too, which I think I'll probably never even get up to the fifth gear and hardly ever fourth. I bought a used one and saved myself $2,000. Just have someone check over whatever quad you decide to buy. There are good deals to be had out there.
