Default Down to two: '04 Grizzly or '04 Arctic Cat 650????

Well, I think that I'm finally down to my last two choices for a four wheeler.

1. Arctic Cat 650 V-Twin w/Winch and 2 year Warranty for $6,889

2. Yamaha Grizzly, no winch and 6 month warranty for $6,500.

So, for general trail riding, hunting uses and some off-road exploring; which would you choose and why?

These are the absolute rock bottom prices that I can find within 200 miles of my location.

Both dealers seem very good when it comes to service work, the AC dealer maybe a little better.

Please help me make my mind up ASAP.

Thanks,
Steve

Why do you say the cat sucks? It has great clearances, a stronger engine, and diff lock just to name a few things.

The 2 year warranty is a great deal as well. I say go for the ac. They are great machines.

The Grizzly has a diff lock too, but the Cat has a lot of nice features such as a bigger gas tank, a nicer hitch setup, better stock tires, better engine, higher ground clearance, more suspension travel. However the Cat from what I understand has that single brake lever (one lever does both) which I don’t like. From what it sounds the person wants who made the initial post, I believe I’d favor the Cat…

Sorry, I meant that the cat had a variable front diff lock.

I think either quad would serve you well. i personally love the looks of the Grizzly. I'm just glad you decided against the Polaris. LOL. Sorry guys. just my opinion.

I say go with the Grizzly, I just got my Grizzly 3 days ago and have only had about 1 1/2 hrs riding on it but love it so far. The AC is a nice machine Im just not sure how the quality is compared to others. I also would not necessarily say that the AC will be faster.....yes the V twin 650 has more power but also the AC weights a lot more then the Grizzly, I would guess 75-125 lbs more then the Grizzly.....this extra weight will affect how the V twin 650 performs. Both are great bikes, Im just bias towards the Grizzly.....When I was looking for a 4x4 I had narrowed it down to the Grizzly and the Prairie 700, but since I could get the Grizzly for $500 less then the Prairie that was the deciding factor for me.

Ok, I just checked...let me correct myself the AC weights 44 lbs more then the Grizzly, I was thinking of the Polaris 700 as it weights 140 lbs more then the Grizzly or Prairie. Still would be interesting to see if the 44 lbs would make a differnce in performance......

GRIZZLY, my friend has an artic cat, they suck at taking off, they are so slow, my other friend has a grizzly and it goes 70 mph and he put a supertrapp exhaust and now he can wheelie just by touching the gas, it has SOOO much power
