I am a little embarrassed posting this but I burned out the clutch on my 2004 Raptor, but I would definitly say it was rider error because when I first started riding I would always feather the clutch and hold it in too much. But since I fixed it no problems. I would go with the Raptor it is all around more powerful and looks better. However if your not concerned with being the fastest guy on the block the 400ex is a time proven very reliable great quad.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]
