Big Bear or Kodiak 400
#1
I think I have narrowed my decision to one of the two - either the big bear or kodiak 400. I was hoping that I could get some pros and cons of each or just any advice.
Does anybody know of a good out-the-door price?
Also, are extended warranties worth the money? I got the following price quote from Yamaha.
12 Months = $438.00
24 Months = $548.00
36 Months = $693.00
48 Months = $836.00
Thanks

well, basically it comes down to: do you want irs and an auto. tranny, or a straight axle semi-auto? Both are very similar otherwise. The Big Bear is a reliable workhorse, but slow. The kodiak is also a very strong machine.

the big beezy is geared extremely low.... it hauls ****, however it want a 6th gear for xmas and sanatas elves are too busy... i hear the kodiak it an all around solid machine and its clearly faster, will you be in mud at all? or on high or low speed trails, also, i dont think youll like the indy rear susp. for turns, makes it like donuts in a mack truck, you may wanna find an 04 kodiak for a lil less$$$$$$$$ good luck
