Raptor, 400ex, kfx400, warrior, 300ex. Which is the best in the mud......i have no intention on modifying them except for the sprockets, chain, and tires. I ride in the woods alot, and powerlines....thers mud rocks and hills, and long straightaways. Which quad would handle the mud the best. Im askin you guys because you usually give me an unbiased oppinoin, i dont care for auto trannys.

 

definitely go with the raptor over those others.

 

i would have to say the kfx/z400 i wasnt to pleased with the raptor in the trails around here

 

You could of atleast included the predator since you are posting this in the polaris forum

 

For the type of riding he described a pred would not be very practical neither would a 400ex but he also included that. It sounds like he needs reverse.

 

I really dont like the rap for trails myself if your not going to be raceing any one go with the 300ex its one of the funnest quads ever all kinds of good points and only one bad its not real fast but the best trail quad for what your going to ride is the scrambler 500 4x4....jmo

what size rider are you?? and how much experience do you have??

of the 4 you mentioned,,,go with the kfx400,,,and if $ is an issue,,,get the 400ex

 

well there is the scrammbler and the wolverine they are both 4x4 so they would be good in the mud and they are good trail bikes period
