I know very little about ATVs. I am interesting in purchasing an atv for moving aircraft. They weigh at max around 10,000 lb. They do not ned to go over 5 mph. An older model would be nice. Could any one recommend an good atv please. Any info would be a great help.

The weight of the aircraft (10,000 #) far exceeds the towing rating of any known quad.

Certainly, many quads can push or pull this much weight around a level runway, taxi-way, or apron, but what about STOPPING? The BRAKES?

Over-running the desired stopping point could become a very costly proposition with aviation and airport equipment in the vicinity. What will the accident investigator or insurance adjuster be told about running a quad with a 10,000-pound aircraft attached through a hangar, another aircraft, a ground-controlled approach electronics or communications module, when the quad is rated to tow, say, 800 pounds?
