Does the Sportsman 400 wheelie like the 500?
I was just wondering if i got the 400 will it wheelie like the 500 does? I am looking for a new ATV and am kinda stuck. At first i wanted a sport fourwheeler but now i am kinda leaning towards a utility. O yea, how fast does the Sportsman 400 go compared to the YFZ 450? Thnx

LOL you cant compare the sportsman 400 to a yfz totaly different categorys the sportsman isn't even close the yfz probly comes close to doubling the top speed of a sportsman 400

Hi guys!!
I'm in the market to buy a 4x4 quad! I've owned a Polaris 300 Xpress, and a Yamaha Wolverine!!
Neither of these had the "*****" I am looking for!! I recently rode a Polaris 400 Xplorer, which, ran about the same as my 300 Xpress did!!
I'm an ol' dirt bike racer, and, own a Buell Lightning(100 HP), and am looking for a 4x4 with snappy throttle response!!
I see this is alot of Polaris talk, Has anyone compared the Sportsman models to the Suzuki Vinson 500??!!!
How does the new Yamaha stack up!!!?? And, alot of people are saying the Kawasaki Prarie is the quad for me???!!!!
I'm confused, Too many choices!!!!
I just want a good trail/hill climbing machine, that will do over 55 mph on the road, and plow show!!! Is this too much to ask??!!

Low range helps, but you can plow with with one. There are plow kits available and I have seen many eqipted with one. You just cant plow as much as you could with a sportsman

geetar...look at the bigbore utilitys too...i think they will all do over 55 easy...

Hey I got a snappy 400 Sportsman that wll plow snow and wheelie and it is for sale.It is a 96 400L 2stroker.

get the bruteforce750 it has over 50hp !!!!!!! dw ses it has to much power it will plow snow like a bear , 65mph esay!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 i would get one but i am a polaris guy, if you want polaris get the 800EFI in jan.
