Scrambler 400L vs. 400EX
#11
In the end those were my two choises. But being an old gear head, I could'nt get used to that belt drive. The PVT stuck out to far on left side. And I kept hitting my foot on it.
The EX had a narrow peg stance.Which worked better for my boney knees. And the bike was easyer to turn on a dime.
You can get more power out of the 400L,But as you get more out of hand. The platform becomes more unstable at higher speeds.Where as the ex is much more stable, But much more expensive to mod to great power.
It's a big $$ question.Go to an event see if you can get two side buy side. And decide whats best for you.If theirs anything you what to know about an ex let me know.
Fastest stock.
In a straight line 400L.
In the turns and the trails 400EX
On the hills, IT's all rider.
