Buying my first quad, what to get
The Blaster is a 2-stroke, and can be a bit pipey. The Blaster really does its best work in 3rd gear, with the throtle pinned. Not the best powerband for a tight trail. You will have to work the clutch in the slow stuff. That can get old fast.
The 250 has shaft drive, which is nice if you do a lot of water crossings, and it has higher ground clearance for rough, rocky trails. And, it has a better powerband for a tight, slow trail.
Out in the sand, the 250 is ok, but the Blaster is a blast!

I rode a Warrior for years, and THEY ARE CRAP! Both the Warrior and 400EX are to big for an inexperienced little 120 pounder.
Smaller people are actually lucky, because they can get by on a medium size bike. I never had so much fun as I did on my Blaster (my first bike).
