If you buy the scrambler put aside a grand or two for when the warentee runs out. Great trail machine but not the most reliable.

Its a long known fact,no other manufatures ATVs have required more repair/maintenace than a Polaris. And this comment is coming from an actual owner of two past Polaris ATVs.Nice quads, but you can allways look forward to fixing something at the end of the day.

If you do elect to buy Polaris, buy something that is 2002 or newer.

The Raptor will make it through a few inches of mud fine if you don't stop in the middle of it. As for the rocks, put on a good swing-arm skid-plate that covers the rotor/sproket and chain then hammer away.

You also may want to look at a SuzukiTP/KawiP700. I'm sure you could find one for $6,500. And It'll smoke the Griz and Sportsman.

sounds like u need a 4x4 i would say look at all of these listed: Brute Force,parie,king quad,twin peaks,Grizzily,kodakic,bruin,rincon,foreman,ranche r AT,SPORTSMAN 800! beast !!!!!

or if u want a sport get Raptor,YFZ450,Z400,TRX450R,TRX400ex,even a 300ex,DS650,cannondale speed440,KFZ400,

I say go with the polaris!

Don't know what your problem with suzukis is but I love mine. I would go with the 5 spd, you would keep up the sportsman and grizzly in most places and beat them on the trails.

good luck

all the 4x4 bikes mentioned above are good.youll be satisfied with any of these.my buddy owns a scrambler its nice but he does drop a lot of money into repairs but he also rides very hard.my choice of your selections honda foreman. otherwise prairie ,artic cat or suzuki vinson or king quad
