Default I am buying my first quad.

dude go for a tb 250.. or even a 300ex. Me i would with the honda 300ex. good quad to start out on and it will last you forever. that and you don't have to be new to the sport to have the ex. its a good allround quad for anyone. if your looking for a good reliable quad at a very good price the 300ex is for you.

Default I am buying my first quad.

So a 300ex should be good? Will that make it through the power lines and stuff? thats my main concern kind of, will i be able to ride it on the lines and through a stream(have to ride it through to make it to sand pits

mmm...something else to think about the powerlines are really rocky...tons of rocks to get hung up on...any ideas there?,..anyone with any expierience...o ill be his main riding buddy [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

the powerlines are real rocky..stump pond if anyone on here has ever heard of it...lots of rocks the get hung up on..wont the 300 be only 3-4 inchs off the gorund by the sprockets?...jw...ill be his main riding buddy...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]..i dont wanna have to turn back cuz he got hung up on some rocks and it now pushing..thanks for everyones help[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

well since ur "main riding buddy" lol has a big bear 400 u might want to ge ta ute to becasue then u 2 can go through the same stuff 2gether.you can get a 2005 yamaha bruin 350 auto 4X4 for $4,999 brand new which has 9.7" ground clearance which would be real nice for the rocks and stuff and also theres 4 wheel drive with the swicth of a button which is also nice fo rthe rocks. So thats what id get if i were you.
