Advice on new ATV / Good Prices?
I'm considering purchasing a new ATV. My planned uses are hunting, minor yard work, fun riding, and some light trail riding. It will be used mainly by me, but will also be used by my wife. I don't feel that I need a 4x4 as I've used my dad's for many years and have never gotten stuck with a 2x4. I'd like to know if any one has any comments on either of these machines and any good or bad experiences with either. I would also like to know if the prices I have been quoted are good prices, and if not, what would be a good deal for me and a reasonable deal for the dealer. I've narrowed my choice down to two models:
1) Honda Rancher 350 - list of $3999, OTD price of $3851
2) Suzuki Ozark 250 - list of $3499, OTD price of $3415
I personally think they could come down another $150 - $200 on each machine with out much trouble, but this is my first ATV purchase so I am not sure. I like the larger size of the Rancher and it's ability to work, but I also like the more nimble Ozark for a little more fun on the trail and in the snow.
Any comments would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
