Default Kodiak 450 in Water?

I'm thinking about buying a Kodiak 450 but i don't like the fact that it has a belt. Belts get wet and a wet belt suck so i was woundering if anyone has taken there's through some descent water or has had any problems with the belt on the new kodiak.

I can always buy the big bear! (NO BELT)

Welcome to the forums.
I used to feel the same way. No belts for me. Then a friend had a grizzly and he could go thru lots worse than my foreman. He never had a problem, so I decided to give it a try.
Ive had my kodiak up to the headlights, in water, and things were just fine. If it does start to slip, try to get out of the water, and drain the cover. Pull the drain plug,Run it at a fast idle( so the drive pulley will spin), in nuetral, for a couple of minutes, then put the plug back in...and its good to go.
