rattles? no, no rattles.this is a great machine, very fast, comfortable ride. diff lock works great, good brakes. now as for things that arnt so good, 4wd takes a few feet to lock in after you hit the switch and it if you are in reverse then hit the 4wd button it wont engage. moral of the story is think ahead, when in doubt put it in 4wd ahead of time just in case. because of the immense power the front will tend to come up instead of corning real well under hard acceleration. and because of the independent suspension it will lean a little more than a straight axel atv. but that is the trade off for a soft ride. you can adjust the shocks to suit your needs. everyone is complaining about the tierods and ends being weak but i've ridden mine pretty hard and have had no problems. some complain about the airbox taking on mud or water when you go deep. but again no problems here, been over the headlights and front fenders and the airbox is still bone dry. i bought mine when it first came out so i had the recall for the a-arm washer missing and the wrong needle in the front carb, but i think these things have been all fixed at the factory so no need to worry. the brute can use a wider offset rim or wider tire to make it handle better but it runs just fine stock. remember the handling issues are only at higher trailriding speeds, under normal use it is great. dont want to scare with these issues. with all this being said, i would not trade it for anything this atv is awsome, i love it, so will you, the power is soooooo addicting, the capabilites are about endless for this atv. good luck with it and welcome to the forum.
