Raptor660 or Z400 ???????????????

I have narrowed my choices down to these two but I can't make a choice.
I like both a lot but.....................AAAAAAAGRRRRRRRRRR
The Z400 comes with better suspension, I like that.
I'm a big guy too, not too tall but heavy (300lbs) and the Raptor is a big beefier, I think that might bode well.
I like the feel of both.
Speed-wise I don't really care they are both fast enough for me. I mostly ride woods and trails but I do plan on hitting the occasional XC race for fun.

Dude.
Trust me on this one, I'm almost 300lbs too and after doing the shopping the Z-Quad and the 660 were the only two left on my list.
Yesterday I just brought home my new '05 KFX400.............
I too thought the Raptor would be better for me since I'm heavier but the engine in the KFX seems totally oblivious to my weight. The thing is a monster.
I found out two things about the Raptor that I didn't like. ONE: it is a bit on the tall and tippy side, which I know can be corrected with body english and such, but it FEELS tippy too and that doesn't exactly inspire confidence. TWO: It was almost $1000 more than the deal I got on the KFX and there is no was I could justify that one.

They're all good. Just pick one and go. I know people that have Raptors, Z400's, Predators, and everyone of them is happy with the quad they have. Personally, I would start looking at the dealerships now. Who is going to take care of you and give you the best deal?

im 210lbs, and RAPTOR all the way, i ride a Z400 and when you get into some situations, the power just doesnt cut it (Low-end,Tourqe)

Not enough power?
I dunno, I'm yet to find a hill that makes my KFX feel underpowered. It may not sound like a grunter, and certainly it's not going to have the torque of the Raptor, but it pulls and never feels like it's going to bog.
Besides putting a 13-tooth front sprocket on would eliminate any concerns about low end power.
I personally have nothing against the Raptor, but I love my KFX and with the upgrades for '05 I was the better deal for me.

I have both and I like the raptor better but both are great quads. The raptor has way better power but the Z handles better. In the end get what you like and not what everyone else likes.
