Hey everyone, I am brand new here and I just bought a 2003 Raptor 660R Limited Edition. And I was wondering how in the hell to work it. I pick it up tomorrow, so I kinda need to know how to drive it. I am used to riding an old honda 3 wheeler. I have never really riden anything that actualy works how it is supposed to so. How do I engage reverse on this machine. also how does the tranny work, were is nuetral.
Also I have seen people do both but are you supposed to use the clutch in every gear or just in first.
Man, are these questions stupid or what, I feel like an idiot.

 

you have to use the clutch to switch every gear on every sport mechine and the gears r nuetral 1 down 5 up ....but im not sure how to reverse it

so if I shift once down that is nuetral, then from there, I go one up for first and so on. also I'd like to know how to use the electric start.

Please take a safety course! They will teach you the fundamentals and the safety of riding. Its worth every penny and you will enjoy your new quad a lot more with the knowledge.

 

well I finally picked it up today, and I love it. it is fast as hell. I think I will look into the safety course thing. Thanks for the help.
