ATV First time buyer.
Hello all, first I want to say great site, lots of real good info here. Now on to the topic. I want to buy my first quad but Im not real sure what to get. I went to my brothers house he has an older yamaha warrior. It was the most fun I ever had in the dirt! So of course now I have to have one. I have some experience (all with bikes though).
What I am looking for:
Mostly trail riding, some hill climbing.
I would like to be able to get airborn from time to time though.
I like yamaha's and honda's but I'm open to sugestions. I was thinking the raptor 350 but Im just not sure. Any help would be great. I'm not a big guy (5'9 145 pounds) so I dont want anything gynormusly huge =)
Thanks for the help in advance!

your not going to find a raptor 350 for 3k used, they havn't been out long enough. Did you like your brothers warrior?? you can find those for under 3k and I would also sugguest a 400ex but they don't have reverse. You can also find z400's used for 3k, not many of them out there but they still aren't that difficult to come around. That would be my suggestion because z400s are pretty much the best all around bike made. Fast, reverse, liquid cooled, reverse, comfortable, and alot of fun to jump

The truth is Jaygood There really isn't a poor brand of quad anymore.
Do your homework, check specs and test ride.
When I bought my new quad I went to each manufacturer forum and possed the question how are the new sp 800 or rubicons tc etc holding up and I really got some honest replies.
Best of luck, let us know what you get.
