6'8" 300lbs Which Bike?

Thanks guys.. the DS is definatly looking like a great bike. Do you like it in the woods? I'm thinking I will likely be doing more trail riding and the occasional sand. I really just need to ride a few bikes before I can truly decide I "think" I want a sport bike (DS) but I'd like to try out a big 4x4 to.. Anyone near Vancouver Washington have anything I could ride for 5 minutes?

I've heard a lot of good stuff about the new king quad if your looking at 4x4s too. We were out trail riding and this guy had one and he loved it. Had more than enough power to pull 450lb fat *** around!! lol

I can tell you that I am 6'11 and 300 lbs. Prior to getting my bike I went to all of the dealers and I ended up getting the Brute Force 750. I like trail riding the most, but I also like sand and mud too. The BF is all around a great bike. It can easily do wheelies in high range and if you get a CDI breaking loose on corners will be easy too. That thing will stay close to the sport types with fast acceleration and near 70mph speeds, but when the trails get rough (ie. logs in the path) you can go where they can't. I bought mine early this year and I thought it was the best thing going for me at the time. The Bomb may be better, I'm not sure. Hope this helps.

If you want to go the 4x4 route and you have the cash the bomb 800 is certainly the way to go.
As for sport machines its going to be between the big bores only. Raptor 660/700, DS650, KFX700. Raptor for perfromance rec riding, ds for more wide open spaces, and kfx for cruising in most any condition.
A friend of mine was 6'6" and weighed 425 when he purchased his Raptor 660. After bariatric surgery he's down to around 250-275 pounds and really enjoys his raptor even more than before. If 10 pounds is supposed to be 1 hp...
