Default Need an automatic quad for my girlfriend.

What is a good quad on the market, that is auto. My girlfriend doesn't want to learn how to ride a manual. It is her first quad so I was thinking anything from a 200 to a 300. Any recommendations??????

I just today bought my wife a Polaris Hawkeye. I like Polaris, but for the price, features, and spiffs going on now (no interest, no payments until 2007, and a 3 year extended warranty) it was going to be hard to beat anyway.

I hope to get her out on it for a bit tomorrow and see how she does. She hasn't ridden in quite a while.

thanks for that suggestion, I just looked at polaris's site and noticed they have a 250 that is auto. I think the hawkeye maybe to bulky and to utility for her. Thanks again.

Yea, the Trailblazer 250 is a nice automatic that is definately more sporty. My neighbor has one of those he just got for his wife, and while his Predator was getting some service done, he rode her 250 and it performed very well. He did some jumps and all kinds of stuff on it.

My girlfreind rides my 2000 polaris scrambler and loves it. She doesnt like my utility quad because its to big. She likes my predator also once i taught her how to ride it but she rather drive the scrambler because its more fun not shifting and it having 4x4 it goes through everything easy.

The Trailblazer 250 would be a nice choice for her, If she thinks its too small get her the 400.

The wife loves her TB250. She's not out to win any races, just have a good time. She says it steers easier than other she has rode and the ride is good. There is a lot that can be done to it, if she decides later she wants a more speed. KFX 700 is a great choice for a beginner. If you don't mind going to the hospital.

Bombardier just came out with a 250 that is an auto. Artic Cat also has one. Those would be good choices. I would say that a Trailblazer is probably too heavy.

You could also get a Z250 or 250EX for her. They are auto clutch so she;d just need to work the shift lever.

Unless she's a body builder the KFX700 probably isn't a great idea.

Unless she's planning on carrying it to the trails, I don't think weight would be an issue. But the AC and Bomb would also be ones to consider as well.
