Default Buying a new ATV. KQ700, AC 700, or Kawi BF 750

I'm new to the forums and I'm going to be purchasing a new ATV pretty soon and I've been doing my research. I've looked at all of the big boys and have narrowed it down to the AC 700, KQ700 and the Kawi BF 750. I havent ridden any of them but from the research i've done they are all good quads. If i'm not mistaken the AC has the KQ engine in it right? Is there anything I should know before I go out and buy one of these. I am going to look at all of them before I buy one. Right now I'm leaning toward the AC because of the design and ground clearence. Also, what are the going prices for these quads. If there isnt a big difference in them I will probably get the cheapest one. I've owned yamahas before but there big quads seem to be a bit outdated.

Welcome to the forum

Yes the AC 700 has the KQ 700 engine in it. Just in a more utility frame. It has better ground clearance, suspension travel, bigger and more usefull racks (with MRP), and a 2" receiver hitch. The KQ will be more sporty and nimble though, as it is lighter and a little smaller. I don't know much about the BF so I won't comment. Good luck!

I actually would go with the H1 or V2 in AC, since they have been around and the bugs are worked out. The 700AC is new and you might find yourself as a guinea pig! But i like AC so it would probably be OK. But out of those choices, go with AC!

I really like the AC but what should I expect to pay for one. I've narrowed it down to the AC or the Suzuki KQ 700. I like the king quad a lot also and it is probably cheaper than the AC. The msrp on the king quad is 7,300 but I havent priced one around here yet. I'm going to price the Brute force saturday and look at it. the only thing I dont like about the brute forve is that it doesnt have a locker and it isnt EFI. I dont really need the EFI but I could live without it but I really want the locker in the front. Oh and what is the diff between the AC 650 h1 and V2 and the V2 LE TS

I would get the AC, the engine is proven and the EFI is great, you my not think that you need it but is nice to have.

H1 = Duramatic Tranny
Very low low range, better pulling power than V2
Arctic Cats Motor

V2= Kawi Tranny
A little higher geared, Higher top end than H1
V-Twin Motor, slightlly more powerful than H1 motor

Personally, it would be a draw for me, the only reason i took the V2 is because the power overtook me. If I could have the H1's low range along with the V-Twins power, i would be in Heaven! The H1 will outpull the V2, because it has the lower gear to do so. The V2 will outrun the H1, because its got a little more power. But everything else about them is identical, except color, and the le is a V2 painted orange, with rims and a winch. Nothing special. AC has great utilities, so have fun looking! Anything else about the difference between the V2 and H1 Catterman might be able to help

the v2 is a smoother running motor then the H1 because well it is a v twin compared to a big single cylinder. personally i think i would go with the 700 efi they have had this motor and efi in the suzuki now for what 2 years? maybe 1 and suzuki has a great motor and they are bomb proof. everything else about the machine is all arctics framework they have had for a few years now and have worked everything out. and i do believe that the brute force has a locking front diff cause arctic cat kinda adopted theirs from kawi. if you wanna go blasting through the trails at high speed get the king quad if you wanna pull a brick $h!thouse around the yard get the cat. if you just want more horsepower get the kawi.
