need help!! KFX 700 or yzf450
I have owned both, went from the KFX to the YFZ.
The KFX is a fun quad. It's got gobs of power and is a wheelie monster. You can mod the motor to be just completely insane. It's a balanced jumper and will go as big as you are willing to. No chain to adjust and lube, no rear brake pads to change, no shifting. You can probably clean the fiter 3 times a year, change the oil twice, and it will run forever. That motor is so detuned in stock form that it's ridiculous.
Drawbacks: It's big and heavy. The handling is sketchy and so is the stock suspension. If you are going to ride motocross you won't be happy with it.
I use my YFZ for all sorts of riding and it is better at everything. It's faster, lighter, and handles like it's on rails. Lack of reverse is no big deal; the YFZ is so light that you can pick it up and move it if needed. It does require more maintenance but not much more. Just change the oil every few rides, lube and adjust the chain when needed, and check the valves once a year. It will run for along time if taken care of correctly.
I would say go with the YFZ. I found out the pricey way that it is a better machine.

The 700 is a huge heavy tank, compared to the 450s (150+ pounds heavier!). Several buddies have the 700, but they are all huge guys. Don't get one unless you are so big that you can't fit on a lighter machine.
If reverse is your only motive here, then get a Z400.
