Hey guys, i need some serious help! Im buying a new 2007 Raptor 700R SE. Does anyone have any tips for how to get the lowest price on them its MSRP is $7,649. Do dealerships like cash or financing? I can do both! How do I get them to take me serious. Im a 21 year old student, but I have the cash. Ive been in a dealership where they didnt really take me seriously and gave my a bogus rate of 22.9% for financing when i was trying to get a yz250f, so i said screw it!!! Can anyone help me out!! anything would be helpful!!! I live in Pennsylvanis if anyone can relate to that. THanks guys!

dude i hear ya...Im 20 and i had 9grand to spend on a quad and when i first went into the dealership that had the quad i wanted they wouldnt really take me seriously either and weren't going to give me a deal for paying cash or anything...So like after a week of looking at other dealerships and they were all the same i got my dad to come with me back to the first dealership and the owner actually came out and talked to us instead of the clueless broad i had to talk to before. He actually knew some stuff about the bike and we ended up working out a deal where i got it $400 less then the msrp price, plus he threw in nerf bars,hand guards,3l of oil and filter for my first oil change at 10 hours.


my dad didnt even really say much either besides working out the price, i talked to him about the nerf bars, hand guards and warrenty issues . I guess they probably get a lot of guys my age trying to buy something they dont have $ for

 

yeah, they dont take guys our age to seriously, im planning on taking my dad with me to just kinda be the negotiator, was there any trick to talking the dealer down at all and getting all that stuff thrown in?

 

Well the key on getting GREAT deals on quads is to get them late in the season. i have an 06 yfz450 bill balence edition and i payed less for it then my freind did for his 06 reg yfz but if u cant wait the way to get good deals is to get them to through in extras. Nerfs, bark busters, heal gaurds ect...
