im looking into a 400 qaud and we will definetly be riding on an mx track any suggestions on what type of 400 quad i should look into and i want a 2 stroke

 

350 banshee.its 50cc smaller but is very fast like a 400. thats closest to a 400 or a 400 2 stroke that i know of

 

o do 400 not come in 2 stroke?
if they dont what a nice 400 i could get wihtout paying to much (used)

 

ltz400,trx400ex,dvx400.'cycle trader' might have 1 of them used

 

is anyone of those better then the rest for racing?

 

wat do u mean better than the rest?all other race quads

 

srry i should have been mroe specific do any of them exceed the others in exceliration handling and stuff like that

LTZ400 is much better than the TRX400EX. I raced my buddy who has an EX last weekend and I beat him hands down not mention I'm about 60lbs heavier than him. Both bikes BONE STOCK! Good luck in your choice, If you want to race though you should be looking at the 450's. From what I here they are all pretty close, just a matter if you are a Honda, Yamaha or Suzuki guy.

 

if your getting into racing i'd prob jump up to the 450's...you could buy a 400 but you'd have to dump a bit of coin into it to make it compete on a track, but really its all in the rider, but if i was just riding track id be getting a yfz450 or ltr450.


if you really want 2 stroke suzuki made a 500cc 2stroke the QUADZILLA, i dont know if id want to ride that on a mx course though lol.... honda250r 2 strokes are awesome, i love the power band in them
