New to ATV'ing - Hubby wants Banshees I'm nervous
#11
you mentioned you are afraid that you won't be able to keep up. whatever you do just take it easy at your own pace until you get the feel for it. too many accidents happen when inexperienced riders drive beyond their limits to keep up. and another vote here that the 400ex would be a good quad 4 u to start out on.

i guess ill throw in my .02
the banshee is....not the most comfortable machine out there....nor the easiest to ride...but i think that your husband will have a ball on one
but as for everyone else, the banshee may not be a very fun machine...the throttle is stiff...it stalls alot...maintenece is high...for these reasons i think that a z400 would be the best machine to look at. they are a little more dune oriented than the 400ex's and have a bit more power.
i got my banshee when i was 15..ill swallow my pride and say that it was way too much machine for me...but since then my skills have improved and i have come to love the screaming two-stroke...
whatever you decide on...be safe, and have fun
