Each to thier own I guess.
Thats 2 of the reasons I chose the Vinson over the Kodiak (Grizzly 450)

Ugh these damn atv model names are annoying.

So Eiger is the budget model, Vinson is workhorse, king quad is best?

So Big Bear is Manual Tranny, Grizzly is Big bear with an auto, and Kodiak is biggest? How do the older yamaha models break down

Kiwis - I have had so many bike break from kiwi that im skipping them.l

Hondas - Rancher is budget, Foreman is top of line but still with solid axle? What the hell is with hondas calling everything the same? Which models are auto models?

AC - my circles choice for about everything, but just way too big for 06-07 models.

Polaris - I have an AC sled, I just cant bring myself to think polaris.

CanAm - Just for people that want to go 65 in a ute?

God mx is so much easier than this. You have everything broken down so uniformly for the last 10 yrs.. Why cant these damn atv makers do the same?

I'll clear some things up for ya the best i can.
suzuki the eiger and vinson are the same except different transmissions i think, not to sure the kingquad is the 700 the biggest best suzuki

yamaha has changed the names to all just about grizzly ex the grizzly 700, the grizzly 450 ect the older models are bigbear 400cc manual or auto tranny depends how old but geared for heavy work, the kodiak 400 is 400cc work or play auto, the grizzly 660 is a sweet machine good for anything,

Honda the rancher is not the budget, its a 420cc liquid cooled and it compares with the 500 foreman which is strictly workhorse the rancher is apparently a really good trail machine but its not auto it has electric shift, i think! the foreman is a 500 but apparently isn't all that great
hope this helps

agreed ..if you are confused about what atv is the budget line and what not, go to the manufactures webpage, it should be clear as day there.

You wife will LOVE the Polaris X2 or 500EFI HO... you cant compare to the comfort of a Polaris IRS ride. the 4x4 is shift on the fly also! very very easy and fun to use!

Good luck.

oh ya the 500 sportsman is EFI
