Default ATV Value

Hi - 1st time ATV buyer. Currently looking at a used 2005 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO Anniversary Adition in Mossy Oak with winch from a private seller. 391 miles, 57 hours. Original owner (older retired gentlemen wanted it to go hunting). Hasn't been used since November. It's absolutely clean. He's asking $5000 or B.O. Problem is, I don't have any experience determining if this is a good deal. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

have you tried lookin on ebay or sumthin to see how the used ones go for well if its an older guy and its clean i'd say go for it it probably hasn't been ran hard or put through nothin major so theres a less chance of you having problems later well good luck hope this helps

barefoot, that sounds like a fair deal on a low mile/hrs quad, the sp 500 is a darn good utility machine, it is tough as nails, you will be pleased with its performance. this is not to be confused with something sporty though. good luck, ride safe.
