Default Eiger trade in value?

I bought an 06 Suzuki Eiger new last year. Now i'm wanting a Sport quad, I'm gonna trade in in to the place I bought it from. It has around 450 miles on it. What do you think they would give it for me on a trade , it is pretty much brand new.
I'm gonna trade it for a 400ex or z400 , the shop im goin to sells both.
Any replies helpful.

Yes you can get more out of it selling it yourself , the dealer won't give you as much in trade in as you can get selling it for cash ; you can look up the value at www.kelly blue book www.nada.com ! Check one or both these site's before deciding on what to do ; each of these site's will give you trade in value and the real true retail value you will see a good difference between trade in and retail price for yourself ! That the way i did when i bought my 2006 AC , ichecked what my dealer trade in offer was ; then i checked out both kelly blue book and Nada said it was worth , there was such a diffrence i sold my both my old ATV's to my borther for double that my dealer offered ! Be sure to check them out before you take it to your dealer ; or better yet check out these sites then ask your dealer what they will give as a trade in ! And if it's look's and run's as good as you say , you will come out better buying the new one no money down if you want it in a big hurry ; and then sell it after you get the new one you won't be sorry you did ! .................williebee

I think you'd be lucky to get around $3K on a trade. Much better to sell it outright yourself first.
