WOW 95% of Utility are Belt drive and that gets smaller every year (500 Vinson gone this year) You options are only Honda,400 Suzuki Eiger,400 Big bear, and 500 Arctic Cat.

When was the last time a non belt Utility ATV was named best in its class or won a mud run contest or anything else? Of couse I have been a snowmobiler for years a belt drive hold up to high powered sleds easily so these low powered ATV must be nothing for them.

The atv world has been moving in the belt direction for some time now, im not sure why everyone acts like this is something new and just a fad. There is a little thing i like to call USER ERROR so for all you who think that regression is better than progression keep shifting, as for me when i want to shift ill get on a sport bike and if i want to tear a@# i'll hop on a belt driven bike.
I guess there is no right or wrong its all about USER PREFERENCE so continue making the mistake that one quad is more superior than the other, manufacturers put atv's in different classes for a reason so all of us gear heads have something to argue about, hell ill take one of every atv from each major distributor do my worst and i can guarantee you that there will be something wrong with each of them. In closing i'd just like to say that the only bike i own at the moment is a shifter (full clutch) and i love it great fun but the belts are here to stay and they will only get stronger in time.

thanks for reading.
